Eden Laboratory Inc. is the sister company of a proud veteran-owned business, built on shared values and experience, and continually growing and evolving to meet the needs of those we serve.
The establishment of Eden Laboratory’s sister company Aqua Pure in 2001 was the beginning of a future built on the hard work and expertise of it’s founders Jarrod Staubach and Christopher Barror. With a rich history of water purification and dialysis experience, Aqua Pure set out to provide advanced water purification systems for hospitals, sterile processing, and dialysis units to meet the strict water quality needs in the medical industry.
After 12 years of success, the owners realized that the need for higher trust in laboratory testing was a need for their continued growth. They asked the third founder and co-owner of Eden Laboratory, Julie Staubach, to lead the effort in opening a sister company to handle the biological testing aspects of the business. In a whirlwind 11 years, Julie built the foundation of endotoxin and bacterial colony testing for Eden Laboratory. Working with NYS, NELAC and ELAP, she created a successful business and established her credibility as a reliable source of biological testing for central sterile supply, dialysis, and dental applications.
In 2022, the owners decided they would set out to, once again, expand their offerings and incorporate the remaining elements of testing needed for a complete water analysis for their customers. Julie continued her education for the following 4 years to earn her Bachelors degree, qualifying her to expand into metals, anions, and organic carbon analysis. Her drive, determination, and spirit have resulted in a successful expansion, bringing on more employees to help her vision become a reality.
Today in 2026, Eden lab is proud to serve hospitals, dialysis clinics, dental facilities and the community to provide confidence in water quality.
Meet our team!
Julie Staubach has co-owned and operated Eden Laboratory, a NYS certified water testing laboratory serving healthcare facilities, medical professionals, water treatment professionals, and other organizations since 2013.
She has technical experience including drinking water analysis, dialysis water testing, microbiological testing, trace metal analysis, ICP-MS, ion chromatography, total organic carbon (TOC) analysis, conductivity, alkalinity, and other chemical and microbiological parameters.

She is passionate about providing accurate, reliable testing while building lasting client relationships through responsive, personal service.
Nicolas Collorafi has been the microbiology Senior Analyst since 2024. His ability to execute high volumes of tests, respond to customers, and manage data has been invaluable to the team. He is highly competent and is a wealth of knowledge making him a core pillar of Eden Laboratory’s operations. Since his first day, Nicolas has been a crucial asset, particularly during our recent expansion, and plans to continue helping the company to grow and develop for years to come.
Jeremy Rouse recently started his journey into analytical chemistry but has quickly become an invaluable member of the day-to-day operations of our chemistry lab. His ability to think critically, manage many moving pieces, and perform routine audits has been key to keeping up with customer demand. Jeremy is deeply interested in chemistry and plans to continue his growth in the field.
Joseph Doane is a classically trained chemist whose mutual industry connections brought him to work with Eden Laboratory in 2024. His focus was to support the setup and accreditation of the chemistry expansion. His previous chemistry education and background in industry helped to push the project forward, ultimately resulting in the full implementation of our chemical analysis offerings. While supporting the company, he has also worked to complete his Ph.D. in chemistry, working on multiple publications and teaching students at various levels of academia. Now, post-launch of the lab, he continues to support the chemistry lab through technical expertise.
Jarrod Staubach is a co-founder and co-owner of Aqua Pure and Eden Laboratory Inc. Experienced in servicing the dialysis sector of patient care, he brings 30 years of unmatched knowledge in the industry.
Christopher Barror is a co-founder and co-owner of Aqua Pure and Eden Laboratory Inc. His extensive 37 year career history has made him one of the most trusted contacts in the water purification business.
